Auto Glass Repair Equipment - Blades

The Equalizer HydroBlades are designed to make the life of the auto glass technician much easier. For this reason, one of their features are the small dimples that are stamped on the side that rides against the urethane. The reason for these dimples is that they allow the lubricant to go into the urethane that is being cut by the blade. In each stroke, then, the blade picks up the cutting lubricant on the outside of the urethane and deposits it inside the urethane allowing for each additional stroke of the blade to happen much more smoothly.

In addition to making the cutting of urethane easier, they also help save battery life and reduce vibrations. The reason for this is the friction reduction.
